Single Use Surgical enjoyed a successful 3 days at BACO 2018 International, from 4th – 6th July. Myringotomy kits and fine suction were popular on the stand, as well as our malleable myringotomy knife, with interest from all parts of the world.
Prior to the event, Single Use Surgical donated 100 Rosen inserters, used to aid grommet insertion, to the Clinical Skills Centre, led by Professor Neil Tolley.
Post event, Professor Tolley said: “Can I take this opportunity to thank you all for your support, guidance, enthusiasm and participation in helping make the Clinical Skills Centre such a huge success.
“Each station was designed on the theme of Innovation and Collaboration – with your input and team work we managed to achieve this!
“The positive feedback has been beyond my dreams and has meant that the 2 years spent pulling this together was worthwhile. As a group we flew the ENT-UK flag very high.
“There were 469 registrants for simulation learning and it truly was at the centre of the BACO meeting.
“Thank you once again for your huge support.”
Single Use Surgical were also delighted to be able to help out at the Student Skills Centre, with a small donation of myringotomy knives and tying forceps.
BACO 2020 International will be held in collaboration with the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck, at the Birmingham International Conference Centre from 8th – 10th July, 2020.
